We have had a fairly mild winter, with few really, really cold spells. Working outside, wind is the factor that means Colleen is wearing two snowpants, a face mask, goggles and wool. Carl is a Neanderthal, he's fine with much less!

Our worry is always the weather, last summer was dry, but we had some rain in the "nick of time" for our fields not to completely dry out. The amount of precipitation this winter has been low, so the concern is for enough rain for this coming season.
