All this work is one thing in good weather; try to imagine what happens when the ground is all muddy!

 

 

Here's a picture of the popcorn field after the corn has been cut

 

 

Here's another popcorn field that's been plowed under, turning it from the field above, to an even- furrowed ground.  The plowing aerates the soil, Carl likes to get this done in the fall.

 

 

Here you can see even furrows covered with a light coating so snow.  Actually, this picture was taken on Christmas Day!
